iphone apps for homeschooling? - Page 2

These are great apps. Thank you for this list. I was wondering if anyone had found an app where we could enter the week's worth of work under subject headings and have it hide once we check it off. Kinda like a chores list. I then would need to be able to bring it up again so that I can enter it into my excel spreadsheet.

thanks,

Iska

I actually found one called 'Intutition' It is great for lists, grocery shopping, the calendar links to the gmail calendar and the best part is that it is free!

Great thread...

My baby is a little young for the iPhone (except for chewing, maybe), but I'm using an app called Babygrow Flipbook to take a picture of Samantha every day or so. The app turns the pictures into a kind of flip book that shows her growing. It can upload the flip book as a video to Facebook, which is great.

I can't believe how fast my sister's baby grew, so I want to remember every step of the journey. Plus it will be cool to show to Samantha, in a few years (if I can remember to keep it up!)

While my phone is still my own, my favorite app is Waze. I haven't gotten lost since I loaded it! Love it!

@greenthumb3 - earlier in the thread you mentioned that your husband was going to try to make some home school specific apps. Did he ever create any? If so please share the names so I can check them out!

i recently read that "state stacker" was an awesome app! i sooo wish they had it for an android tablet, but it seems to be available only for the iphone or ipad.
