We're doing the Brightly Beaming Resources curriculum.

For science, I love the book "Science is Simple." For Math, I really like the book "Count on Math." Both are designed for preschool classrooms, but are very easy to translate to a one on one homeschool situation.

I definitely suggest checking out the teacher shelf at Barnes and Noble (or Borders, but I think that B&N's is much better). They have tons and tons of resources for preschool teachers on all sorts of subjects. Your library may have some, too.

i like the kumon activity books. they have cutting, tracing, glueing. they're good for 15 min of self-directed fun and is lots of good fine motor skills practice.
i also like science is simple and count on math. also we have a set of cuisinaire rods and an activity book for pre-school. i plan on going on to miquon math so i like introducing them now. i got it from fun-books.com.

We use a mish mash of workbooks I've picked up from thrift stores, plus craft idea books, and loads of books from the library. My preschooler just turned 4. I'd like to use the Pathway Readers for kindergarten.

Read back in this forum. There are many folks discussing preschool, homeschooling & curriculum. You'll find lots of info!

We are Waldorf and use Seasons of Joy. I really love Little Acorn Learning, too (they have 2 free samples on their website) but we can't afford the $20 per month for their e-books, whereas SofJ is $15 for 3 months. I also follow a lot of blogs to get ideas, as well as hang out here. We don't do workbooks at all but "learn through living," so dd knows how to cut with scissors from cutting open our yeast packets for baking, cutting felt as I craft, etc. She figures out math on her own (maths, like adding and subtracting and patterns, are really very intuitive), as well as letters and phonics (we read A LOT). And we play, a lot. She helps clean, she climbs, she jumps, we build indoor snowmen, we ice skate, we eat snow, we celebrate holidays, we light candles, we play with water and food coloring, we make up poems/stories/and songs together, she draws and writes letters on our bathroom mirror with washable crayons, we paint, we make play dough, etc.
