Has anyone tried those indoor jungle gyms?

Thread Starter
I think my ds needs some serious stimulation enhancement. I see there are several websites for indoor gym equipment, and also for "indoor jungle gyms" that attach to walls and have ladders, swings, etc. that can be put in a bedroom.

Does anyone have one of these that they really recommend? Ideally I'd love to make our own, but I'm not too handy so I'd love a pattern. The ones I've seen online so far seem stimulating physically but not too inspirational as far as creative/imaginative play. Anyone have any suggestions, feedback, etc?

Thanks!

We hung a swing in the living room with hardware from home depot. I hear other parents have hung climing wall gear to their basement walls. I would love to see a link though for somehting less permanent.

I have major lust for one of these.

Unfortunately we are in CA and no basement, and square footage is at a premium... so I don't see us ever having enough space.

Hi!
My friend (WAHM) is the owner of this company www.kidsdreamgym.com. So we've used the products a lot! My spd son especially loves this http://www.kidsdreamgym.com/cuddle_swing.html.
Since we are in a small apt. we can't get the gym, so we are buying this instead http://www.kidsdreamgym.com/doorway_swing.html and will use the bar to hang the cuddle swing for my son, my daughter will use the trapeeze bar which she loves and when the baby comes we plan on getting this http://www.kidsdreamgym.com/baby_hammock.html and hang it from the bar as well. The accessories all attach by quicklinks so they're really easy to switch around.

Hope that helps, pm me if you have other questions! BTW, my friend doesn't give me kickbacks for pitching her products, lol. I just think they are great and feel good recommending them to others!

Oh my goodness. I am now lusting after that playset. It's awesome. Too bad we don't have enough room in the house.

We got an indoor mini trampoline for my boys ... it is fine right in the living room, can be rolled away, and is great for the long wisconsin winters. We also rollerblade in house (just get clean wheels) and have a giant yoga ball the boys do 'circus tricks' on. We'd love to have more of an indoor playground kind of thing for winter, but just haven't had the cash to fix up basement yet.

My sister has the Rainy day indoor playset. both of our kids love it, especially the net swing.
