Red Raspberry Leaf tea or capsules?

Do they work the same? I have trouble drinking a whole lot of tea but I take vitamins and supplements.

not exactly but you should still see benefits from taking capsules.

I see way more people with results from herbs in general. Capsules usually have much older herbs with a lower nutritional content, you consume less and many times half the benefit is the hydration.

Some of these points aren't *always* true if you are comparing tea bags (like traditional medicinals) and capsules. If possible go with fresh (dried) herbs.

Thank you that makes sense. How would I go about obtaining these herbs and how would I consume them? Like loose tea?

I agree, do the dried loose herb from Mountain Rose Herbs. Look for the raspberry leaf thread on the pregnancy forum if you want more info about preparing it. It's much more potent than the capsules.

You can encapsule your own... That's what my herbalist recommended if we couldn't cover the grassy flavor of the RRL and alfalfa (we did, btw, with another healthy herb!). Simply take your blend of loose herbs, grind them to a powder and fill capsules.

The upside to tea is that it keeps your fluid level up as well. If you want, I'll bring you some of my pregnancy blend to try to see if you like it.
