Another shoe thread.... soft soles? - Page 2

We also have the original pedipeds. You could scuff up the bottom if you like but they have good grip on sidewalk.

I intend to keep DD is soft soled shoes/barefoot as long as possible for her foot health. But I know it's going to be challenging once she is bigger.

Also, perhaps ther is a gunky, slippery buildup on the sole of your robeez which you could scrape off with a wire brush? We do this with the suede soles of dancing shoes.

For those with soft star shoes, do you like them? Do they scuff when the toddler crawls a little?

I have been looking for 'tennis shoes' or something that covers most of her foot, maybe to wear with socks. She has narrow feet and it has been really difficult to find shoes, I have been out shopping at tons of stores but many are out of her size shoe (we live in a large city), then I just have to look for shoes that 'run narrow' because not many people make shoes in narrow for toddlers (size 5). Right now she has a pair of sandals (that I pd way too much for and they are getting all scuffed up) and a pair of jelly shoes from old navy.

Well they would obviously scuff if she were crawling across rough cement, but I doubt that would happen very often. The soft stars we had did not scuff at all with normal wear. After 5 months of near daily wear they still looked great. SKR definitely scuff way more.
