Asia co-sleeps and a few days ago whenever I wake up she is on her belly asleep. This worries me because I know you're not supposed to let them sleep on their tummy before one year old.. is there anything I can do?

At 6 months, she should have the head control to be fine. One philosophy is that if they can roll over, they are fine.

I wouldn't worry about it at all. (I have never heard the one-year guideline - that seems like a very long time to be back-sleeping, given that they can roll all over by that point.)

Once a baby can roll over by themselves it is perfectly all right to let them sleep however they prefer. Really how could you prevent a kid at that age from sleeping on their tummy? Where did you hear about no tummy sleeping until one year old? That information is wrong.

Nah, it's not that "you don't let them sleep on their tummy". It's "you don't put them down on their tummy". See the difference? You initially put then down on their back. After that, they can do what they want/are capable.
If they have the strength to roll over, they are fine. You're also supposed to leave them how they are and not flip them back, which will just disturb their sleep and you begin this tummy to back to tummy rolling game. Let the baby sleep. He's fine!

I stopped swaddling my DD at 8.5 months and she instantly started sleeping on her belly (after I layed her down on her back). I had a couple of sleepless nights, but I talked to the pediatrician and she said it was fine because she had the ability to move to that position on her own. And she sleeps much better that way too!!

She can roll from her back to her belly, but not from her belly to her back, is that a problem? And I think I heard that information here on this forum a month back or so! Someone said something like until 9 months to a year you shouldn't let them sleep on belly.

My kids both have been able to roll from about a month on and I put the on their backs, but always wake up with the on their sides or belly. I always freaked out about it with DD, but both have had good head control since around that month mark. I just never put them on their belly to sleep, they just roll over and end up that way.

Yup - I've always heard the same, that once they have good head control and can get themselves out of a position, not to worry about it. Even if she can't roll from tummy to back, she should have the strength to move her head if she were having trouble getting air.
