Well I live in canada which is significantly harder to coupon in (or so I think) but last weekend I came accross a good deal.
Sobey's was having a 10 percent off customer appreciation day, and they had a few items on sale as well, including the iams brand pet food which we buy for our cats and dogs.
So we got Three large boxes of cereal- Regular 4.99 each
One four litre of milk-5.49
One medium becel margerine(lactose free)- regular 5.99
One dozen eggs- 2.49
One large tin of cofee- Regular- 5.98
Pears- .99 a pound
Blackberries * 2 for 1.99 ea
Strawberries a pint 2.99
organic bananas for .99 a pound
two 20 lbs iams cat food bags - regular 35.98 each
two 17 lbs iams dog food bags- regular 23.98 each
So we got ten percent off the whole thing, plus I had 40 dollars in coupons for the pet food, in addition to it being 20 percent off on sale, the three cereals gave us a free milk, buying the margerine gave us a free dozen eggs and the bill came out to 107 after all discounts!
I counted it up and this was a savings of over 80 dollars!!
I felt so accomplished.
