blocked ducts at 21 months?!

For the last few days, my right breast has felt sore. I massaged it in the shower (well, actually, I psychotically probed it thinking "holy crap, that's not a LUMP is it?!") and it felt better for a day. Tonight it's definitely back to being sore again. DD still nurses A TON, like every time I sit down and numerous times a night, and she hasn't slowed down at all recently. Could it be blocked ducts? No other changes I can think of. Same bra, same uncomfortable sleeping position that one holds with 2 kids in bed , same same same! Any thoughts?

When I've gotten clogged ducts there has been a hard, hot, swollen area on one side that hurts like heck. At the time I could never figure why, but in retrospect it was always not enough water and constricting clothing.
I nursed the baby on it, massaged it with heat, drank a lot of water and it usually cleared up pretty quick. Supposedly positioning the baby's jaw where the block is is supposed to help too. But you have to assume some unique nursing positions! :-P

Oh and mine always came on really suddenly, like over a period of twenty minutes and I cannot even imagine it going on for days. The longest was about half a day.

Water! How could I have made it this far and forgotten the basic science of nursing?! It's been so cold this week (we're in FL) that I've hardly been drinking any water. Read this last night and gave it a try. Lo and behold - no soreness! Thank you!!
