Ds2 is amost 6 months and very mobile. he sleeps in the co sleeper and we have a queen size bed, and a very small room. ds climbs out onto the bed when we arent in there. after hes in bed, but before we are, he wakes up, and off he goes into our bed! i can not hear a thing on the monitor when he does this. hes silent as can be. today he pulled up on one of the high sides of the cosleeper and would have jumped out to the floor if i wasnt there with him so my earlier plan to just keep the side up (might as well be a crib at that point) wont work. whats the next step? what did you do when your LO ws climbing out of the co sleeper? we dont have room for a crib next to the bed, dont want to bed share, dh is reluctant to put our mattress on the floor with no box spring and we already have no bed frame under the box spring. if we did go that route, mattress on the floor with a toddler mattress on the floor next to ours, how can we maintain some separation? dh is pretty clear that he does not want to bed share this time around so the co sleeper was the compromise. help me make it safe for my little monkey!
