Right now I have an indoor cat who isn't really that interested in going outside,though she does hang out on the balcony during nice Summer days. She's not on any flea prevention and when she gets her shots she doesn't get the full lot of them since she doesn't go outdoors. The vet said this was fine.
If I get a dog obviously he will be going outdoors and he should be on flea prevention right? Should my cat also be on it then?
My new dog would have the full set of shots so should my cat as well?
Also does a dog need to be on heart worm prevention medication? Is this given daily?
