I;m kinda new to this stuff here, but I really want to get involved!

Here is my info

Ruth

I think it's a girl, but I would love another boy, I'd be QUEEN of the house!
We picked Dawn Isabella for girl and Scout Sawyer for boy, we are not finding out the sex
HBAC, 1st birth was cs due to asynclitism, he's 18 mo now. I am kinda nervous, my mom had all 5 (yes 5) of us kids by CS, so I don't have a good vaginal birthing history encouraging me, but I know I can rebuild that. My mom died in 2000, so going to her for motherly advice is out of the question. I need all the encouragement I can get. After interviewing about 8 or 9 midwives, we settled on one that had a cs for her 1st for the same reasons we did and a HBAC for her second.
We actually got prego the day my IUD was removed, they didn't tell us that if you have sex in the couple days before it is taken out, you can get preg. off that. Well, it just so happened, looking back, that I was ovulating that day. I know it was then because we didn't have sex for 2 weeks after the IUD was out, and the used other protection, and got a positive test only a couple weeks later. So I think it's a God thing, he wanted us to have this baby!

Family: Husband Scott, age 37 (married since August 15, 2009), daughter Maia, age 5.5 (born June 8, 2004); stepson Austin, age 13 (born April 8, 1996), furdoggie Stubbie, age almost 5 (dachshund mix); furkitty Hogan, age 5 (domestic longhair tabby)
Baby's Gender: Obviously unknown -- don't really have a preference, though the thought of having a boy terrifies me lol
Names you like: We've talked a bit about it and we like Aaliyah and Reyna for a girl and Malakai for a boy. Haven't really done all that much thinking about it though.

Just got my BFP this morning! DH was (is?) not really sure about this, as a matter of fact he doesn't believe me and wants me to test again in the am! Checked this morning's test for the 30th time and it IS positive (still).

How long it took to you to get your BFP: Um, am embarrassingly short time. If we're figuring conception right, it happened the evening of the day we said we'd start trying.

Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): Both of us are thinking BOY this time

Birth Plans/Preferences: I'll be going hospital/OB. But probably not an epidural, I did lamaze/no-epi for my first baby, and absolutely loved labor/birth with no pain meds. So, going for that again this time.
