Hey there. Just found out this week we are expecting

EDD: Sept. 17 (by my calculations, we conceived the day after Xmas)
Name: Wami
Age: 33
Location: Western Oregon
How long it took to you to get your BFP: a nice surprise!
What number child is this for you: 2
Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): Husband and daughter who will be 2 in Feb. Oh, and a cat.
Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): Just healthy!
Birth Plans/Preferences: Not sure yet
post #145 of 255
* EDD: September 28th (hoping I'll hold off until October so this one and my oldest don't share a birth month)
* Name: Liv
* Age: 32
* How long it took to you to get your BFP: unplanned (like all my children!) although I did get two BFPs on 7 DPO at night!
* What number child is this for you: 3
* Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): I have a husband and two girls (4 & 2.5). We keep talking about getting a dog but get kids instead
* Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): No idea. We were surprised with my oldest, found out for my next... not sure what we'll do this time.
* Birth Plans/Preferences: I'll deliver at a birth center with my midwife. I'd be intrigued by a homebirth but my midwife can't do them and I love her too much to not do my care with her. I am a little nervous as my second was born 12 minutes after we arrived at the birth center... I tried to squat on the sidewalk outside so we'll have to err on the side of caution getting there this time.
* Anything else you'd like to share: I am feeling nervous about this pregnancy because I had an unexpected ectopic pregnancy over the summer. I was treated medically not with surgery so I didn't lose a tube or have scarring as far as I know but still my chances are increased this time around. I did have an IUD in during that pregnancy which I believe was the cause of the ectopic, or a contributing factor I should say. I'm just really anxiously waiting for a six week ultrasound to see a flicker of a heartbeat in the right place! We usually tell close friends and family right away but I think we are waiting this time until after that ultrasound.

I'm due at the beginning of the month, but delivered at 38 weeks last time. I'm hoping that I make it to September for the same reason as you. My oldest son will be 4 on August 30th and I'd love for them to have different birth months

We found out about a week ago that I'm pregnant, its taken me a while to get around to getting to the roster though.

EDD: 9-13-10

Name: Steph

Age: 25

Location: coastal Texas

How long it took to you to get your BFP: Completely surprised!(Pill Baby)

What number child is this for you: 2

Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): DP, DD who's 3.5, and my BIL who lives with us

Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): Just really want a healthy baby, my mom's begging for a boy and my dd really wants a sister though. I wouldn't mind a boy either

Names you like (& are willing to share): Have not thought that far ahead yet.

Birth Plans/Preferences: We don't have a birth center here (I'd love to try that!) So most likely have to be hospital.

Anything else you'd like to share: I am a full time Respiratory Therapy Student so I'm always busy. This is DP's first child, my second. We are getting over the shock and more thrilled everyday I can't wait to meet this baby I'd love to try my hand at a VBAC since I had an unexpected (and uneducated) c/s with my daughter.

EDD: 9/13/10 I guess my due date is the 13th not the 14th.

Name: Mom

Age: 24

Location: USA

How long it took you to get your BFP: We leave our family size to God so we haven't been preventing.

What number child is this for you: 4th child, 6th pg

Family: husband and 3 children

Birth Plans/Preferences: Would love another home birth, but we've moved and midwives are illegal in this state. The closest one is too far away. I have a history of fast labors. My last was under 2 hours long.

Anything else you'd like to share: This is the longest spacing between my kids. I took a test 9 days ago and it was negative. Just got my positive today.

I'm so excited to be here!!! DH and I have been married for a year and a half, TTC that whole time (were were together for almost 3 years before getting married) and had pretty much given up hope. I have had PCOS since my teens and DH was dx'd with testes varicose veins, low sperm count & mobility. He had surgery, but it wasn't successful. We started the process to become foster parents just before Christmas. Got a BFP on the 12th of this month.

  • Location: Gabriola Island, BC (close to Vancouver Island)

  • Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): dh, and ds(6) and Fancy Pants our amazing talking budgie bird.
  • Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): ds would love a sister, dh and I are happy with either
  • Names you like (& are willing to share): For a boy, Xander Maxwell (means Great Warrior), for a girl, Sadie Mae (means Princess of Spring)
  • Birth Plans/Preferences: I'm having a homebirth with Gloria Lemay attending. She also delivered my ds at home.
  • Blog, website or the like: Organique Gal (haven't announced it yet so please don't say anything in the comments... waiting till I have my first prenatal visit on Feb 22nd before announcing it officially)
  • Anything else you'd like to share: This is my second equinox baby. My son is very easy going and calm, so I'm looking forward to another equinox blissed out baby.

EDD: September 21 or 22nd
Name: Dianna
Age: Turning 28 on Monday
Location: Anchorage Alaska
How long it took to you to get your BFP: I was breastfeeding and had a short lp. I was trying but not expecting to get pregnant right away since I was breastfeeding more with my dd and it took longer to get a lp long enough.
What number child is this for you: 3
Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): I have a 3 year old dd, a 15 month old ds a cat and a dog oh yea and a dh too
Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): I want to be suprised this time. I found out with my first 2. I don't have a preference either way.
Birth Plans/Preferences: Natural birth. I may just stick with my OB who I love since I had a great empowering natural hospital birth and he can do vaginal breech births.
Anything else you'd like to share: If this pregnancy works out all my kids will have birthdays within 2 weeks of each other. The baby is due a day after my dd's birthday. I just hope they don't come on her birthday so she can have her own day.

I don't understand what that has to do with her 2nd being born on 1st's birthday?

Hello All,

* EDD: 9/11/10

* What number child is this for you:7
* Family Husband William, 4 boys- Jeremiah, Christian, Gideon, Ezekial and 2 girls- Donya, Olivia ranging from 14 to 1

The last time I was on here I was in the October 2008 due date club. Zeke was actually born Sept. 1, 2008. I am going to try to keep this peanut in longer, atleast to 36 or 37 weeks. I am a registered nurse and we homeschool our kids. I enjoyed the last due date club and if I stay preggo this time I am sure I will enjoy this one. Helen

Meaning a second child is unlikely to be born at 40w1d.

she said its a week before... so 41w, not likely with a second. Possible, yes, but not likely.

How many more for the end of the month??? Just got my BFP yesterday!

* EDD: 9/29/10
* Name: Molly
* Age: 32
* Location: Southern Colorado
* How long it took to you to get your BFP: Lucky #7!
* What number child is this for you: 2
* Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): DH, DD 3.5 yrs
* Baby's Gender (hopes or guesses): Last summer when we started trying I was hoping for another girl, but when things didn't happen as quickly as I thought they would I joined the "a healthy baby" club!
* Names you like (& are willing to share): Haven't thought about that much yet
* Birth Plans/Preferences: I had insulin dependent gestational diabetes with DD so I'm eating a diabetes-friendly diet already. I'd love a home birth, but not sure if the local midwives would take me. At the very least, I will be far more in control of my own destiny! I am getting a script for more test strips on Monday so that I can keep a really close eye on my sugar levels myself.
* Blog, website or the like: Nope
* Anything else you'd like to share: I'm really excited for my second pregnancy. I was overly-paranoid and anxious the first time and this time is going to be all about relaxation and taking good care of myself.
