potty training and daycare

Thread Starter
so, my 18mo dd is so ready for potty training and we bought the little seat for our regular potties and she sits and is so close, but she misses and goes in her diaper and then tells us

she in daycare 8-5 m-f; at school, they can only use the regular potty and the child has to hold himself up to go; she freaked out (i can understand why) and how can she relax when she has to support herself from falling in?

anyway. . .how can i best potty train her in the 3-4 hrs i have her home in the evenings and on weekends?

Our old DC would allow a seat reducer as long as i brought it in, and it was hers only. Personally, if she is verbal and letting them know she has to go, I ould raise a stink about htem not accomodating her. DD is now over 3 y/o and has a really tiny butt. She is just now able to hold herself up on a regular seat. She too ws an early trainer so I sympathise.

Truly, DD wasn't completely out of diapers till we switched DC's from a larger center to a home care situation. She was PT'ed in 1 week after that.
