Any thoughts on these names?

Boy: Lee Thomas
My dad's name is Thomas and my husband's grandfather is Lee - The baby would have the same first and last as my husband's deceased grandfather. Also, my middle name is Leigh and my best friend's name is Lee (girl)

Girl: Reese Ann
My name is Renee and Reese looks like that without sounding like it and leading to confusion. Ann is my grandmother's name.

Ooh, I love name threads!!

Personally, I LOVE middle names after people but first names that are the child's alone. So I'd use Thomas as a middle but a different first name. Also Lee seems - to me - pretty feminine to use for a boy anymore. (sorry...) How about Sawyer Thomas? I love the name Sawyer and it seems no one uses it. Or if you want to honor your husband's grampa, how about a name that starts with L? Lincoln is nice. Lincoln Thomas. I like Logan Thomas too.

LOVE Reese Ann!!! Ann is my sister's middle name and my dd3's middle name as well.

My kids get middle names after other people and first as their very own, as PP said.

Of course, that was how most of my family was named... so to each their own right?

That said... those are nice names

I honestly think it's sweet to name a baby after a loved one. Not necessarily the first name after yourself though... Maybe the middle name though. I think a first name that is slightly modified after a grandparent or loved one would be cute.
