Hey Quick question! My 11 month old DD is smacking me and daddy in the face. geesh
I realize she doesn't have impulse control and I have been trying to teach her gentle (with the cats!) and that hitting is not acceptable behavior. Only a few times has the hitting of my face been in frustration, otherwise it tends to be because she is so excited and playful. She is very spirited and very happy, laughing/smiling all the time so I don't feel like she is expressing any major stress or aggression.
However, it is getting frustrating and I am very concerned the behavior could stick if I don't nip it in the bud.
My questions:
-do all babies her age do this?
-any words of wisdom to keep it at bay?
Much obliged!
