A couple of quick knitting tips

A friend of mine asked how to do these, and it occurred to me that other knitters might like them too, so I posted them to my blog. Here are a couple of quick tips on how to knit a stockinette stitch faster by not turning your work and a beginner's tip on how to knit without letting go of the right needle.

If other people have tricks and tips they have learned to make knitting faster or more fun, please, add to the thread! I'd love to learn from other knitters as well.

Thanks!
I learned to knit w/ yarn in left hand (is that cont? I always get them confused) for colorwork and am practicing knitting that way when not doing color work as I hear it is faster, but it looks oh so sloppy right now.

My tip is to hold your right needle close to the tip for more control and increased speed.

It's so interesting watching other people knitting.

I also hold the yarn in my left and and instead of wrapping the yarn around the right needle like you do I use a needle stroke to 'catch' the yarn.

I've had friends who learned the wrap method tell me they want to re-learn my way because it looks faster. (That's what they have said from your video it looks just as fast as my method).

Continental does look really easy. If I hadn't already learned this way I'd go for that.

Does anyone have any other tips about knitting with multiple colors?
