What spices do you add to 10 bean soup from the bulk bin?

The title says it all. I bought some 10 bean soup from the bulk bin and was going to cook it with some onion and carrots and veggie broth, but what spices should I add? I'm a horrible cook and don't want to ruin the soup when I make it! (I'm making 2 cups of dried bean soup)
TIA!

Depends on what taste you'd like.
You can't really go wrong with garlic, basil, pepper, salt, rosemary. I would also add some tomato product. Either paste or canned tomatoes maybe

I add garlic, pepper and 1 tablespoon cumin. Spicy but not really hot, more of a smoky flavor.

Thanks! I went with cocoanib's suggestions. It's in the crock pot right now! I'll let you know how it turned out tomorrow!

you could also add miso paste for some depth with those herbs and spices.

So glad you enjoyed it! I make it this way for a cafe I volunteer at and folks always love it.
Simple, but yummy

Couldn't resist adding my all-time favorite bean spices: turmeric, ginger, cumin, and fenugreek. I like to cook the in olive oil then add the whole mixture to whatever beans or lentils I'm cooking.
