Valentine's Day & Easter Books for Kids

Have any favorites?

I'd like to add some to our seasonal book collection and also check some out from the library.

DD is only 2.5, so some simple books would be good but she also is well above her age in listening level, which means anything goes, I guess.

I prefer not too many books with commercialized characters.

Robert Kraus has some cute books about a spider, How Spider Saved Valentine's Day, How Spider Saved Easter, etc. though you might want to preview them. It has been a looong time since I read them, so there may be things that are edgy in them. I know the litterbugs are kind of mean and the little caterpillars sleep in the back of the classroom a lot. Amazon carries them.
