VBAC HELP - need MW or doc in or near Amarillo

This is on behalf of a friend who has, alas, only recently figured out that her doctor is not going to be supportive of a VBAC after all. She had already switched doctors once. Since I don't know a thing about the area, I'm throwing it out to you , just in case. Are there any birth centers? Any CNM practices? She did contact one home birth CPM, but I'd like to give her some other choices if there are any.

HELP!

Thanks!

I used Leah Hernandez out of Amarillo when I had a homebirth in Portales, NM. She was wonderful and I would use her again if I still lived in the area.

Here is a link where you can find a midwife in Texas.

The closest birth center is in Midland (probably about 3.5 hours away... if not more). There are no CNMs within driving distance. There are a handful of CPMs in Amarillo. One posts on here on occasion...
