kind of a dumb question

The dipsticks you test your urine with will have read times listed on the bottle. So if it says 60 seconds, does that mean read the result within 60 seconds or wait 60 secs before reading?

I do these at my midwife appts. and sitting here tonight it occurred to me I may be doing them wrong. I just had my last appt. and won't be back for 4 weeks and this kind of question seems silly to bother my midwife with before then (not that I think she'd mind).

I'm pretty sure it means to read it AT 60 seconds, although 10 seconds on either side probably won't make a huge difference.

Yep, it means wait 60 secs then read. Some of the pads take a little while to develop their final colour.
