doesn't like stroller

I love wearing my 7.5 mo DD in a carrier, but as a result, she doesn't like being taken anywhere in the stroller (just a hand-me-down maclaren). It's not usually an issue, but there are times when it would be more convenient to have her in the stroller (eg, babysitter with back problems...). Has anyone come across this before? Any suggestions on ways to make the stroller more comfortable and fun?

I wouldn't assume that your baby doesn't like the stroller because of you wearing her. Some kids just don't like strollers, just like some hate the car seat.
I'm afraid I don't have any tips for encouraging her to like the stroller except start moving as soon as she's fastened in. But my toddler never liked riding in a stroller until she was about 2. And she still usually refuses.

Have you tried her in a stroller when you're not there. Ds wouldn't tolerate them with me (ok - I only tried twice) but with my Mom or mil he was fine in the stroller.

Ah, she doesn't much like the car seat either... hmmm. Oh well. I will try and keep her moving as soon as she's strapped in. She's the same in her beco - if I strap her in and it's not her nap time, she gets upset until we go outside and she realizes we're going to take a walk! And never thought about the mommy/stroller connection - I'll give that a try when her sitter comes. Thanks!

Mine doesn't like the stroller unless she's in a good mood and has some of her favorite toys in there to distract her.
