How do you organize your sewing project "wishlist"?

For yarn crafts, I love the "Add to Favourites" function in Ravelry - I can easily store projects that I might like to make one day, you can add tags for easy searching and the thumbnails make it easy to see what it really is.

Is there any such thing for sewing projects? Right now I have a whole jumble of books, blog posts and patterns bookmarked in my browser, but it's not the easiest way to organize stuff, plus it's hard to search through a bunch of text links to try and find a pattern I remember.

Any good tips or resources for this?

im pretty sure your not the only one to ask this and as far as i know there is nothing live ravelry or wonderful ravelry however i too have the same disorganized sewing "wishes" as you and have the same thoughts maybe there is another way we could think to organize our wishes that someone could share with us how they do it

i've been wondering the same thing! The closest I've come is in my gmail account you can build a personal webpage. I'm building with my favorite bookmarks saved as links. I made one for homeshooling resources and it's so nice to go to my page, see the headings and all that. I'm also trying to be better about actually downloading PDF file tutorials and saving them to my hardrive with some sort of organizational thought rather than bookmarking, forgetting the website, remembering, searching, and finding it moved... or getting lost on another web of cute blogs.... Looking for any other tips or organizational ideas.

I write down ideas on a list. With a pen. So far mine has dozens of projects, from "Make more Christmas gift bags" to "finish DD's quilt" to "Make a corset". I don't think I'll ever be done.

I've just realised that patternreview.com has a 'stash' feature where you can store patterns. I don't think you can drag blog posts and such to it but it would be a start.

For online stuff you can manage these links using your bookmarks/favourites folders and saving the names as something you will recognise! Firefox will search bookmarks and I imagine other browsers can too.

I have a folder on my pc where I save downloadable patterns and I'm thinking of making another one to save screen shots of stuff I like. If you use the print screen function and paste it into a word doc you can see the web address as well as the stuff you are looking at which I think may be useful.

I have a craft journal. I write down things I want to make, things I've made. Notes about them, like did I need to add an inch here or if I didn't like it. I also keep a list of gift ideas.

I use my blog as a way to keep track of projects I want to do, I really like the sewing circle site though, I was wondering if there was a ravelry for sewing type site!
