Nursing pad recommendation

Which do you prefer and why? I've seen all sorts and am stumped on which ones to buy. Should I buy the washable ones or disposable? If disposable, which brand? - Lansioh, J&J, Medela, Gerber, etc., And if I choose the washable ones, how many should I purchase?

I never used these when I nursed DS, so I'm clueless when it comes to these. To be honest, I didn't even know they existed!!

I made my own nursing pads... super easy and super cheap.

I cut 4 inch circles out of receiving blankets (we got a ton as baby gifts), stacked 4 of them together and did a zigzag stitch on my sewing machine around the edge. I think I made about 10 pairs so that I would always have clean ones without having to wash too often.

I also made some with a layer of microfiber (I cut up auto towels) in them for heavy leaking times.

HTH!

I tried about 6 kinds and the disposable Lansinoh were my favorite by far. I bought one pair of reusable ones (can't remember...Playtex or something???) and they were scratchy and uncomfortable. Also, I could leak thru' the ones without the plasticky backing. I would love to find some cloth ones that I like...

bf pads

I like Lansinoh and dont mind LLL, J&J were OK too.

Bravado cloth ones are OK, I don't like that they aren't the same thickness all around though, as I find I can leak through the top half.

Kushies are OK too, but they kinda bunch up.

No matter the type of cloth ones though I have to double up or else I leak.
