Positive story on writing what my kid has done this year

My Ds is almost 14. He has decided he wants to try a virtual class through the Ministry of Education. The school wanted a brief synopsis of what he has done this year.

We are very relaxed HSer's (bordering on USing) and sometimes I worry we do not do enough. Well, the synopsis was 2 pages long and it rocked!!

I feel much better after having written it - even if I do not have to write another synopsis about HSing ever again (unlikely) I think I will because it was so vailidating to see all this stuff laid out. I highly recommend it for any time anyone has a case of (insert wailing sound) "we don't do enough!"

That's great!
I send emails to our advisor now and then with updates and I agree, once you start writing it all down it really adds up!

That is awesome..feels good. I like to hear this esp since now he is 14..you have the wide scope view. It is so reassuring to hear this when we all grapple with the uncertainty of "is it enough" syndrome at sometime during our learning journey.
