Good questions for interviewing doulas?

Hi.

I am interviewing doulas starting next week. What are some good questions for me to ask?

If it helps any, this will be a VBAC. I want to labor as long as possible at the house and then go to the hospital at the very end. I have never had a vaginal birth.

another question that wasnt on that link would be has she supported at your hospital or birth center before? if so how is her relationship with the medical staff? has she worked with your mw or dr?

I always ask if they have one or more back up(s)

if your birth is near a holiday-will that effect their services

have they had any vbac experience (not that it matters since most doulas treat vbac's just like a first time mom--because they are birthwise)
