should we take these liquid filled teethers away now that there's a tooth? can he pierce them?

I wouldn't worry about it. They're filled with sterile water, so IF they do get punctured it's harmless. Also, they're quite hard to bite through. My friend's DS used them long after he had teeth.

I don't think they can bite through. My DD has 5 teeth and our teethers are fine.
