Has anyone made their own formula?

I had twins last March and never made enough milk They had surgeries in August and with all the craziness they ended up on organic formula but as they approach a year I am contemplating switching them to goat's milk with some nutritional additives.

I am going to move this to Nutrition since this is essentially a nutrition question rather than one of parenting.

I made my daughter homemade formula for a good year (7 mth. - 1.5 yr.)... the recipe from NT (milk-based one). But now and then I gave her Meyersburg Goat's milk with these homeopathic formula drops from a naturopathic doctor in my town, along with a tsp. of CLO. She's a healthy, spunky kid, so I have no regrets!

A friend of mine has been making her own from raw goat's milk for a long time. I don't have the recipe, but I saw it somewhere online once. I'm thinking it's from Sally Fallon's book, "Nourishing Traditions".
Aha! I found it. Here's the link. It's actually made with raw cow's milk, but you can use goat's milk too.
