Arms Reach mini mattress

We use the mini co sleeper and it works well for us. But, I'm having a problem with the mattress. DS seems to always move to the same spot which is causing an indent in the mattress. Then I think he kind of gets stuck there and it's right up against the side of the sleeper.

Anyone else have this problem? I'm afraid that it will just happen with a new mattress and I can't spend the $ for the organic mattress. Is there a mattress pad or something I could put on there?

Thanks!

That sounds less than plesant for you and your DS, have you called the company to see if this is a common issue with the cosleeper? Are you ready to have him in your bed fulltime or maybe sidecar a full size crib where buying an organic mattress for that would be more useful in that you could later make it a floor-based toddler bed if your DS wanted to sleep outside of your bed?

I have the mini convertible, and I will first admit that our DS only slept in it maybe two or three times before being in our bed full time.

If the mini works like the convertible, is it possible to rotate the mattress so he's not in the exact same area all of the time? The manufacturer says not to use any sort of extra padding, so I wonder if you could put something under the mattress on top of the mattress supports to level the mattress?
