Both of my babies make clucking noises. They're 10 weeks old today.
They occasionally do it nursing. It doesn't hurt me, though they *may* have shallow latches. Since they're gaining well, I'm not terribly concerned in that department.
They mostly do it just sitting around. They're pretty happy when they're doing it. It's LOUD, too! CLUCK! I don't think it's a "feed me" cue, since they'll do it right after finishing up eating - even after like 4 oz from a bottle!
I don't think it's thrush, since I don't hurt, and neither of them seem to be hurting or have the white spots in their mouths.
Any idea? Is this just something funny, or should I ask my ped about it?
Thanks!
