We need one of these. Everything your LO does that makes you melt into a pool of mushy love.

Orin:

-right after he sneezes and he makes the best little tiny "aahhhh" sound.

-the way he tried to go for the boob when he is really hungry. Looks like he is a shark trying to rip his food up into shreds, complete with the snorting and grunting lol

-when he wakes up and stretches out and raises his eyebrows and clasps his hands together...he looks like a ballerina LOL I can't explain it any better, you would have to see.

-when he cries he squeaks and it just sounds so funny and sad at the same time. He lets out a full wail then on the 'in' breathe does this squeak lol. We call him Squeaky

-after he is done eating he goes limp and looks drunk lol. I pick him up and his little arms and legs just dangle and he looks completely satisfied.

-when he cries and his bottom lip trembles it makes me want to cry too.

-at night when he is curled up right next to me and his little hands are touching me and his head is resting on my boob.....it's the sweetest thing in the universe.

When she's alert and quiet, and she's staring into my eyes with such love and trust.

Oh, and when we're doing skin to skin and she just snuggles in between my boobs and calms right down.

Yup! All of that. I just love the newborn sounds whether it is grunting, snorting or soft cries. Everett makes mewing noises in his sleep too. Not exactly sure how to describe it other than it sounds like a kitten. I love hearing his breathing against my chest in the sling. I love the few smiles I've gotten from him so far. Completely melts my heart.

Ali makes my heart melt whenever I wake up and she's on her side with her head up against my boob with a lil smile. The noises she makes when she sleeps make her sound like a little Pug Puppy so that is what I have been calling her. It is too cute.

I love that it sounds like he needs an oil can when he sleeps lol.

Smiles...the smile fest after every diaper change, smiling at each page of his books after taking time to study each new image, smiling around my nipple, smiling in his sleep...all of them! But he has so many other funny/cute little expressions, too...he's so much fun to watch.

All the noises, too. Sometimes he sounds like a puppy, sometimes like a dolphin, sometimes like a little piggie or a hungry bird, and sometimes like a ferocious monster. In fact, I love all the happy hungry monster noises and faces and movements he makes when he's really looking forward to a square meal.

Snuggling up against my ribs under my boobs when he's done nursing.

Any of his oh-so-sad and serious faces he makes in his sleep. And the nurse-y lips he does in his sleep.

Watching his peaceful face when he's deeply asleep.

Watching him think and try to figure the world out.

His eloquent little hands! Everyone comments on them...they're always doing something interesting or posed just so.

When it's obvious he missed me after being held or taken care of by someone else for more than five minutes.

All his efforts to "stand" and push his way up my chest. He makes these grunts of extreme effort that seem just as determined as the ones I was making the last hour of pushing him out.

Brushing his beautiful hair into place, only to have it mussed up ten seconds later.

His chubby cheeks! I've worked so hard to get them chubby!

Awww, I am so emotional over my new little babe right now all your posts are making me tear up!

I love the snuffling, snorting sounds he makes when boob is right there but his hand sneaks in and gets in the mouth first!
I love his expressions when he is sleeping - the range of smiles, frowns, laughter...
And the coos he makes when on his belly looking out the windows or all around.
Sooooo cute!

This morning DH had Everett as I was taking a nap. I wake up to DH bringing Everett in to nurse. I look up and Everett sees me, smiles, then when I lift my shirt, smiles real big again. LOVE IT!

My newest thing is when she is cuddling with daddy and starts nuzzling his chest, trying to get something to drink... LOL!!! She makes the cutest noises and Daddy starts freaking out... hehehe.

Funny! My DH made a mistake of sleeping with DD on his bare chest as a newborn. She latched on to him and he woke up screaming, "OUCH!"

So many melty moments!

Sometimes I swear Annabelle is pretending she's hunting my nipple. It's right there in her mouth, but she keeps her mouth open instead of latching on and whips her head back and forth eagerly like it's trying to get away! Luckily she always gets the best of it!

Rassa is the gruntiest baby ever. She grunts loudly when she stretches, when she shifts position and when she's gulping down the first few mouthfuls of milk. It is SO cute.

She also smiled at me for the first time last night and I started crying.

I also love it when her dad gives her to me to feed and I whip out the boob and her eyes go all wide the minute before she gets it into her mouth.

And of course, our all night boob snuggling sessions.
