Ds2 gets purple feet when they get cold. It happened a lot when he was a newborn (even though it was June and 90 degrees outside!). I just thought it was because he was so little - I know that can be common in newborns. Plus he was also blue when he was born because the cord was wrapped around his neck twice and it took him awhile to pink up.
He's almost 7 months now and I'm not sure if this is still normal? He's crawling and pulling up now and I've been taking his socks off so he doesn't slide and I noticed that they're still bluish/purplish a lot.
Is this just something that will regulate on its own or should I be doing something?

They're always a bit cool but I always thought it was because he was being changed/taking a bath/etc. and just covered them back up again. It's not a deep purple, just a light shade and when I push on them, they stay white for awhile and don't pink up right away. I'm thinking poor circulation?
). I would call the dr. I know for my ped I can usually talk to a nurse and they can decide if it is worth scheduling an apt. I'm sure everything is fine
