I think she is weaning :(

dd turned 3 in nov. she has not asked to nurse at all in the past 3 days & she loves (should I say loved) to nurse! At bedtime she just snuggles in for storytime & falls asleep. I am sad & relieved & then sad again. She will be my only baby & now we are moving on...

What an exciting time. Have you considered offering? If DD says she is done, then you can celebrate the end of this special time you have had.

Please, though, take care of yourself Momma. A lot of women are very hormonal as their "babies" wean. Take some time to make sure YOU are feeling good and to celebrate what a wonderful gift you have given your child.

Definitely a time for mixed feelings. I can understand your relief tempered by sadness. I guess the best thing to do is acknowledge your feelings and continue to follow your daughter's cues. Hugs to you.
