My DH, born in 76, was a single footling breech. Back in those days breech didn't mean automatic c-section. He was his mother's first born. No complications.

"The criteria for natural delivery included the mother's pelvic width, the position of the baby's head, the baby's weight, a frank breech position and a carefully monitored labor. "

what does pelvic width have to do with it? how do you even measure that. the old "your pelvis is too small" bs is responsible for many a c-section in my mom's generation. we are really small and spare women. but i did fine even tho i am built like a boy (now with big boobs!) and my grandma, smallest of all, had 6 kids, the first of which was 10 lbs.
