It's because he's in a new stage right? (sleep related..reassure a first-timer)

DS will be 9 months soon and lately his sleep has been off. He'll go longer between naps (3 hours as opposed to 1.5 or 2), nap the same, and repeat. However, he's been sleeping harder and longer at night (I don't think I'm nursing as often...my breasts feel fuller when he does want to nurse) and sleeping in longer in the mornings (it used to be amazing if I could sleep until 8...now he sleeps until after 9am...sometimes 9:30 easy).

Last month he got the hang of crawling, over Christmas he got the hang of pulling himself to standing, and he's been doing both CONSTANTLY ever since. I'm always chasing after him and he's always on the move (unless it's time to nurse that is)

Should I just be counting my blessings? This is normal and going to end isn't it?

Anytime they sleep better I say to just enjoy it! You never really know if it will stick around. It does sound like he's just reached a new stage and will continue to want to stay awake longer. It's very normal around that age.

Does this mean that he may start sleeping more at night? And possibly STTN? (I know that would make my MIL happy lol)
