his poor little head!

my almost 9 mo is crawling like a champ. Now all he wants to do is stand and walk, but his balance isn't quite developed yet.
he pulls up on EVERYTHING....couch, tables, even his toys on the floor are tools to help him stand. I keep a constant eye on him, but he's so fast and he's up, and then BOOM........WHAAAAAA!
How much can his little head take? I feel like i need to let him explore and learn (although i'd like it if he wasn't QUITE so anxious to walk!) I know if i kept hitting my head like that i'd have some headache!

I laugh now at how worried I was when ds was learning to sit. Apparently the head can take a lot of bumps 'cause this one is constantly running into things & falling over (got his coordination from his mama!). I figure as long as he stops crying quickly it's probably just fine.

Kids are made to take a lot of knocks to the head. I figure, if they do it now when they're babies, they'll learn to be careful before they can really seriously injure themselves.
