How to Get Her OUt of My Bed Without Threats, Etc?

My 3.5 year old has a toddler bed right next to ours but always crawls up in the middle of the night. It's too tight with all of us, I would like more snuggly room for hubby and I, and after crawling in it takes me a long time to get back asleep. So how do I get her to stay in her bed? I don't want to use threats and would like to avoid bribes, but I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

I have a nearly seven year old in bed with me so I'm no help, but I'd suggest a bigger bed.

Be patient, maybe. My DD just stopped co-sleeping right after she turned 4. She decided she liked her bed in her room better. She does have a couple of cool nightlites she uses in there. We keep our bedroom darker. At 3.5 my DD was still nursing to sleep and snuggling all night long. They can certainly change a lot in a few months.

would love to know the answer to this, our bed is a little less cramped now that my 3 yr old sleeps in his bed but I feel like it's ridiculous that he sleeps in his bed while my almost 5 yr old doesn't sleep in hers. I just waited and waited thinking that eventually shed want to be in her bed, they always say they wont sleep with you in college but I am beginning to be doubtful. I only have a queen bed but luckily have 2 sidecars. However my 17 mo old cosleeps as well and we have another otw so if we could get the almost 5 yr old out well before baby that would be great.

Oh and I gave up on caring how it happened a long time ago so weve even tried bribe/rewards with little progress. I would like to avoid punishment/threats/abandonment/crying though which is the one thing we havent tried and probablyw ould leave her in our bed before wed try
