Graydon arrived at 9:10pm on Jan 5 after a 23 hour labor. He weighed 9 pounds 12.5 oz, 21 1/2 inches long, 15.44 inch head! I needed oxygen and a vacuum and got a 3rd degree tear, but none of that matters now, what matters is that he's here and healthy and we're so happy with him and love him very much. I'll write up a more detailed birth story in the near future.
He's down to 9lb 4oz today and we're having a bit of trouble with breastfeeding. Its very painful and my nipples are bruised. I'll be talking to a lactation consultant tomorrow.
