Just a fun poll, wondering if people had more 'morning' or in my case, all day sickness with girls or boys?

I felt sick with DD, but much more sick this time (and earlier too).

Both the girls I was a hyperemetic wreck. This time, not so bad at all, so I'm hoping it's a boy!

One boy, two girls. I was much sicker with the girls.

I don't know what the twins are yet... and hopefully won't for at least another 30ish weeks, but w/ DS I was miserably sick ALL the time for the first trimester, and 1/2 of the second. W/ this pregnancy I have horrible nausea but have only actually gotten sick twice and both times it was smell related.

I have 3 girls and 2 boys and one more (not sure which) on the way. I have been really sick with all of them. No real difference between the sexes for me. (I didn't vote, because that wasn't an option.)

With my son it came on slowly but got horrible and lasted almost the entire pregnancy

with my daughter it started out right away, was of and on, and then I felt fine most of the rest of the pregnancy.

I have a boy and a girl and I was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay sicker with my ds. This pregnancy is still an unknown though and I was very sick this time as well. So I voted boy although if this babe turns out to be a girl that would really mess up the results.

I honestly don't think it matters girl vs. boy... but I am having a girl and I had no morning sickness thus far.

Voted other/neither.

Two girls: the first with no morning sickness whatsoever, the second with some.

I have a boy and am having a girl, and was fortunate enough not to experience morning sickness with either.

I voted "other". With my girls, my MS was milder, but lasted for much longer (6-8 weeks). This time around with a boy, it was earlier, and much more severe, but only lasted 4 weeks or so.

I voted for girl.

I have never been so sick as to vomit from morning sickness, but with DS I had no nausea at all, with DD I had a little bit, and with this pregnancy (don't know the gender until birth) I have again had none at all.

This has me pretty curious as to the scientific reasons that may (or may not) apply to this theory. Is it a hormone thing? Why would the sex of a baby cause more or less morning sickness? I'm genuinely curious, if anyone has info.

i was waaay sicker with my girl than my boy.. though i was also much more active with my boy pregnancy and i was nursing and always wondered if that helped too..

I've only had girls, but was only mildly sick with #1 and #2, but am still sick multiple times a day (at 27 weeks) with #3 (also a girl).

First boy-no ms to speak of. I think I had one dry heave.

Second boy-ms from 7 weeks - 12 weeks

This pregnancy (don't know gender)-ms from 5 weeks until 11 weeks

Girl 1- bad nausea from week 7 to 17
Boy 1 - bad nausea from week 7 to 17
Boy 2 -bad nausea from week 5.5 to 17
Girl 2 (not born yet) bad nausea from week 5.5 to 19 and worst nausea of all the babies

well, by far I've had more ms with this pg then with my boys and we are told that this is a girl. I'm not 100% positive though since the baby was a bit uncooperative when trying to see...but I vote girl if baby really is!

tofu, i think the theory is that girl fetuses cause more morning sickness based on possibly pumping more estrogen into the body. however, i think it may be just another attempt at gaging the sex of the baby. i have 4 boys and my last, of which i was 10 years older, had me way sicker than the 3 previous. i think it's more a matter of how well your body copes w/ the increased levels of hormones.
