candida, diet, food intolerance ... help? (xposted in nutrition & good eating)

I'm dealing with a histamine intolerance, possibly salicylate intolerance and have yeast problems for the past 2 years. I've taken several antifungals. I now make my own yogurt about once a week. I'm at the point that my body seems to be fighting off the yeast depending on what I eat I can feel better. I know with too much sugar or even bread/carbs I can feel the growth happening again. Please help me know what I can eat to fight this. I'm doing the failsafe diet but have recently been able to add in sweet potatoes, carrots and a tiny bit of cucumbers (might have too much sals for me). I can't do fermented (other than my own yogurt) or aged foods at all. If I do the candida diet would my diet look like this?:

Meat -- chicken or beef
Yogurt -- my own made plain
Veg -- celery, lettuce, (cucumber?), carrot???
fruit -- golden delicious apple once a day???
Is that it???

To make matters worse I'm struggling with hypothyroid and on meds for this. I also have asthma and I'm taking a very low dose inhaled steroid for this. I've been struggling with oral thrush and vag. yeast. Diflucan has helped a lot and I'm wondering if I should take another course of that (last one was 3.5 months ago)

Should I be gargling with hydrogen peroxide?

We're also really wanting to TTC but I feel that I need to get this in order before then. Also dr. wants my TSH levels down to a 1 (they are now at 3.8 ... they've come down a lot but not enough for their liking).

I was on the candida diet, but it was too much, too quickly for me. The foods I ate came from this website: http://www.thecandidadiet.com/foodstoeat.htm

A sample menu of mine was 4 eggs scrambled in coconut oil with sea salt & pepper to taste. Lunch was taco salad (leftover beef or chicken with mild spices added: cumin, sea salt, pepper; spinach, plain yogurt and guacamole). Dinner was chicken cooked in coconut oil, onion, and garlic; steamed broccoli with sea salt; brown & wild rice (soaked overnight, I used the recipe in Nourishing Traditions).

I would have had an easier time keeping up with it if I didn't have to cook different meals for everyone in my family. DH hates vegetables, the kids hate beef, etc. It was just too much for me so I caved after 8 days. It's a shame too because my symptoms were decreasing dramatically and was almost down to my target weight. I hope you can do better than me! I wish you the best of luck!

Edited to add: I was also taking ThreeLac. You should check into that as well. It's a powerful probiotic. I ordered it from Amazon.
