We will be there : ) Can't wait, you guys have done such a great job every year. And to be in the mall this year is wonderful exposure for mom's to learn about other birthing options : )

moving to Suffolk/Chesapeake area

new to the Tribe and will be new to VA. Moving from Portland where I had my 2 boys and went to naturopathic med school. Now moving to a state that doesn't license naturopaths and is FAR away from all things familiar. My older boy is 8 and my younger is 4. We're looking for good schools and my husband will be working in Suffolk. Any pointers? Also - what are the options on organic produce? How about friendly community minded folks? Really looking forward to the bird watching and boating, crabbing and getting a place where I've got room to have chickens, rabbits, maybe bees... raised beds for veg. I hear that it can be pretty buggy? It also sounds like perfect weather for tomatoes. Would love to connect with other mommas that like to have fun, make things and can help me get settled. We're moving in June after school is out. - Thanks!

Hi, I'm not much help on schools and such but there is a thread going right now about areas to live in Suffolk on our local AP/NL meetup group that you might find helpful - http://attachmentparenting.meetup.com/290/ . I'm also curious to know if you will be practicing as a Naturopath here in VA? We need more practicing NDs here!! And yes, sorry to say but it is quite buggy here!
