5 years tomorrow~~~!

Thread Starter
I have a busy day tomorrow so I won't be able to post, it's my son's 5th birthday and we are having a big family party for him.

January 10th 2005, I gave birth at 41 years old to my surprise baby boy and we started our nursing relationship. It's been a rollercoaster ride having a baby late in life but I am happy to say we are still connected and nursing every day

Less often nowadays as he is a very busy boy and goes half days to school, but mornings and evenings we nurse and I feel so close to him.

I never thought I would find myself in this position but I am so proud to have come this far and to have overcome the obsticles in our way. (nursing through a 2nd pregnancy with my youngest, my husbands view on us still nursing , comments from my family who don't 'get it'

I'm so happy to have you guys to share with

WOW, Congratulations! I'm trying to convince my ex to continue breastfeeding our son (he's 3 yrs old). She wants to wean him, but I think she should keep giving him his milkies. He's thriving, and I don't want to deprive him. I wish I could breastfeed (just like Alan "the One Man Wolf Pack" from the Hangover) .
