Has anyone here tried them? We are dealing with a dairy sensitivity in 3 month old dd and I have cut out dairy for 2 months now, but she is still gassy, fussy, ect. My only concern with these is they say they may contain trace amount of milk protien. Anyone here have a dairy-sensitive baby and try them and had success? TIA!

I use giprohealth.com probiotics, but they're in capsules. They also have trace dairy but low enough so that they can be labeled "dairy free". Have you cut out soy too? The other top contenders are gluten and corn.

I used them and my dd reacted to them. I think there some other df probiotics you should try, like Solaray Babylife or Natren LifeStart, which contain bifidus and are also supposed to help w/allergies. My dd is on Klaire Labs infant powder (although she is a preschooler now) and we really like that, too. However, I just want to warn you that many babes who are sensitive to milk are also sensitive to soy. I ended needing to cut gluten, soy, processed corn, and eggs in addition to dairy before dd's poop, sleep, mood, and skin issues cleared up.

Thanks for the replies.

I have been dairy and soy free for 2 months. We are using Klaire Labs right now but I'm finding it so difficult to administer bc its a powder.

If you've cut out both dairy and soy (checking ingredients very carefully in everything from medicines to supplements, etc.) then it's time to look at other possible culprits, like gluten or corn. Is it every day? A food journal might help if symptoms are intermittent.

Tried the BioGaia gtts when DS was 3 months old (who was also intolerant to dairy) and they seemed to be the only thing that helped us at the time. I'll say it wasn't a remarkable difference in him, but it was definitely a change from the constant crying, gas, and misery. So to us, it seemed like a big deal at the time.

Yes!!! I tried them with ds when he was an infant.  They worked wonders in just a couple of days...  He was always fussing, and very gassy and he spit up quite a bit.  Within 1 week, we noticed a huge difference and within 2 weeks, he was completely better!!  I finished out the bottle which lasted another 2 weeks, and we haven't had to use them again.  He is two years old now and very healthy with no sign of food allergies or food sensitivities.  I would highly recommend these drops!

BioGaia was like a miracle for our daughter.  She went from screaming A LOT to being a pretty happy baby.  She is sensitive to dairy but these seemed to help her.  I second looking at other allergens.
