Websites to create a registry from multiple sites?

Thread Starter
I know I've seen them discussed here before, but I couldn't find any of the old threads mentioning them. I'm wanting to find somewhere online to create my registry where I can put items from different sites and stores all in one place.

Also, recommendations for natural online stores with a broad selection of typical registry stuff with registries would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Mamas!

I use Amazon's Baby Registry. All of our family lives far far away but they are all ok ordering online. I since I have books and many other items from there that people could buy for the baby I started there. You have the ability to have a universal registry so you can add anything from any other site as well, plus, there's an "Add to Registry" toolbar item you can add that'll allow you to click it whenever you come across something you'd like on your registry and bring up the box to add the item. Not a bad option if you have anything from Amazon on your list.

I used myregistry.com during my first pregnancy - worked great!

I love Amazon's registry. Very handy, being able to add anything from any site to one place.

I liked myregistry.com

I started using the amazon one, but didn't like it and switched to myregistry.com. I liked how I could organize the items any way I wanted, name my own categories, and even have a welcome page for visitors with a message from me and pictures!

A lot of the things I registered for ended up being from diapers.com They have the best prices, great shipping, lots of variety, and natural items too. (like cloth and 7th generation diapers)

Also, in addition, Target is a good one to do because a lot people like to go into a store, and they do have some natural items and necessity-type items. You can register or just update your registry online too. So I did Target.com & MyRegistry.com

I like the amazon registry too. I had a registry on myregistry.com at first because I didn't realize that amazon lets you add things from other sites. I like the amazon's registry setup the best. Plus amazon has such a huge inventory including cloth diapers, etc. I also find amazons reviews super helpful when deciding on products.

There seems to be quite a split. I would sign up for both online, add a few things, try it out, see how you like it, and then pick which one suits you best.

if you are truly looking for a registry that can use ANY website, that is myregistry.com -- i personally decided to go with that because you can basically choose whatever yo uwant from whatever store you want and put in on your registry and it's super easy.

amazon has a lot of choices, but myregistry.com is limitless. i think i seriously used like 20 different stores/websites for my registry.

Amazon lets you do that now too. They have a Universal Registry button, so if you're browsing the Internet and see something on another site, you click the button and it pins it to your Amazon registry.

I'm using http://www.alternativegiftregistry.org/
I like that you can put an item on there that isn't a "thing". Like helping with housework or something.

I really like the Amazon Universal Registry. It's great if people are comfortable purchasing things online. If you have some luddite family members, you might make a Target or other brick-and-mortar store where someone can go and look you up in-store.

I use amazon also. I like how most things are on their site already. Most people feel comfortable buying from Amazon. Anything that isn't there, you can add with a click of a button.

Another vote for Amazon.... We did a large portion of our registry there, and we're also going to do a smaller registry at a local brick and mortar natural family store entirely for those folks who really want to go browsing in a store for us rather than buying online.

I'm using the Amazon Universal Registry too.

I think I may also do something at walmart, target, or babies r us for people locally who want to grab something from a store on the way to stop by for a visit

I am also using myregistry.com and it's been amazing! I really like how it lets you register for things from any store you want, but another feature that made my life easier was the fact that I could import the registry I had already started at target. This saved me a lot of time because I didn't have to redo everything on myregistry, but I think it will also be good for people like my grandmother who doesnt use the internet because she can still go to the store and whatever she buys will be updated on myregistry.
