Patterns for making hats out of felted sweaters?

The kids & I went on a thrift shop wool sweater search & now that we have a stash, we're going to felt them. We'd like to make some things out of the felt (cutting & sewing) but don't have any patterns.

Can someone share some patterns for pilot hats with a pointed front in various sizes? Oh, and balaclavas too!!!
