Nursing/pregnant - what happened to your breasts?

We're 8w2d - hopefully - with our second. My LO has only weaned six days (19m), but I have had no breast changes like I did when I got pg with her. Is this normal? What have others experienced?

With my first, I had horribly swollen and sore breasts right away. With my second, I didn't notice any change! HTH

With my first 2 I had the painful swollen breasts. But when I got pg w/#3 I was nursing #2 & it wasnt till halfway threw my pg that my nipples got tender but NOTHING like when I got pg when not nursing. Congrats on the pregnancy!

My nipples hurt a ton when he's nursing but I haven't noticed any change in size (that's a lie l, they seem smaller sadly)

Mine did not change as dramatically as they did w/ DS1. He was still nursing when I got pg. I did not have the extreme soreness that I had with him. They gradually got bigger again but it wasn't the boob explosion that happened almost immediately following my BFP w/ DS1.

I didn't get the incredibly sore, tender breasts like with my 1st. That was my 1st pregnancy sign with her. I nursed her through my 2nd pregnancy and did not have the all the time soreness. My nipples were sore when she nursed. That was it.

Thanks everyone; this was really helpful. I planned on nursing her until she was two but have a huge miscarriage anxiety so encouraged her to wean at this point. I will miss it. I was very afraid that I did not have changes as my journal from my last pregnancy literally says . . .

I believe my breasts are being ripped off by a tractor.
