9.5 months to old to start co-sleeping?

When DD was an infant I was too scared to co-sleep as we have a memory foam mattress, so DD slept in her own little crib in my room, and then moved to a her own room and this worked well for us at first. But since she has started to get her teeth she is up at least every 2-3 hours, and I am exsusted and spending more time in the rocking chair in her room then sleeping in mine.
I tryed co-sleeping with her the other night and I don't feel that I was anymore rested than usual. Is this something that just takes time to get into a groove. or is it too late and I'm doomed to nights spent rocking my poor baby to sleep?

I co-slept with my first 3. #4 I did when he nursed during the night but he got fidgety and ANY movement or contact in the bed made him stir. Around 4 months or so I finally moved him out of my bed. Around 16 months he started to like sleeping with me again. Now he ONLY sleeps with me and co-sleeps all the time again. I don't think there is a set age that is too old. If it works and both of you do better - go for it. FWIW I do think it can take a week or two adjustment to really get in the groove and I notice this with my older children as well. DS 6 has been having nightmares so we've moved him back into our bed, it took a week+ for both of us to adjust to it.

I think it's worth a try and once you settle in and get used to it you may both find that you love it
