If you choose NOT to find out the gender - Page 2

I think DF is now dead set on calling baby the Tribble.

We call it he, or tiny. Mostly just use HE to prepare DD in case it's a boy, since she is convinced it is a girl. We won't be finding out the gender during the pregnancy.

We all call the bby "Franklin" (like Franklin the Fetus). Boy or girl, that won't be his or her name anyway but it does beat "it" LOL
DD didn't have a name when in utero. DS was "Herman" from conception, I did find out his gender at 18 weeks though.

W/ DS it was the parasite for most of my pregnancy... he made me HORRIBLY ill. Also peanut. This time it's the twins or the babies, or baby a and/or b.

I think this is more or less what I did with the first three (coupled with lots of "she's" for my boys -- who I was sure were girls! ). This one, my 10yo daughter dubbed "Mickey" within a day of finding out we were pregnant, so Mickey it is til the baby is born.

I used parasite once or twice and I got the most horrified looks! I was like, what?! It IS!

I say "it" or "the baby" as well. We've never found out with any of ours, and calling the baby "it" doesn't bother me. It's not like it's said with any less love. Plus, for *me*, I'd feel weird giving the baby some little nickname.

I told DH last night that I felt funny referring to the baby as "it" so he says:
"Well we could call it Paul! Product Of Our Love" (I swear he is not usually this corny!)
I thought about it for a second then burst out laughing. Somehow between fits of giggling I pointed out that it spells POOL.

So now "it" has changed to "pool"
