Has anyone confirmed Costco takes EBT now?

Just wondering, my state DSHS site said that it was in the works, but every time I try to research I just find old info from the first news releases back in Nov. I've been Costco member for years and would love to use my card there.

What state are you in?

It was being implimented on a state by state basis, so that totally determines it.

I suggest calling your local store to verify. Even if they're supposed to take it in your state, it's still possible that your local store isn't accepting EBT for some reason (technical difficulties with the machines, this one store opted out, etc.) I read that they started taking EBT in NYS, but I haven't yet verified it. I'd hate to get to the checkout with a basketful of stuff and have to put it back because I can't pay for it.

Can you post back when you find out? I am also on the sunny side of WA (though not so sunny lately), and want to know if the Wenatchee store takes them.

All stores are supposed to be taking it by this spring, but my Brother in Law (manager at a Costco in Oregon) says 99% are now.

Washington here, too. My Costco in Silverdale takes EBT at their regular checkout stands, but don't have the software for the do-it-youself checkouts.

I have been using at mine since after thanksgiving. I'd call about it though because I thought that I read that it was only half their stores that they were going to take FS.
