My son has always nursed to sleep and we cosleep as well. For the last couple weeks he's been taking over an hour to fall asleep at night, nursing the whole time. I'm totally happy nursing him until about the 1 hour mark and then I just want to scream. I think he is teething his molars because I see a bottom one about half through. Does this sound like teething to anyone else? I just hope it doesn't continue. It makes me want to wean him even though I normally don't want to and I know that's probably the last thing that he needs right now. Does anyone else's 2yo do this when they aren't teething? Can you tell I'm worried it's going to be like this forever?

Maybe he just isn't tired enough? How long is his nap? could you shorten it or have him take it earlier so he's up earlier and then tired earlier? That helps here. When he's at school with me he has to sleep on their schedule which is at 1 but on days we are home I put him down around noon so he's up by 2 and then he falls asleep MUCH easier than the days he's at school and wakes upfrom nap at 3 or later.
