Question about Writing Forum Closure

I saw the note about the writing forum being closed. How long do you think it will be for these new groups to open? Will it require being a Supporting Member Level III in order to participate in these groups? Will the blog roll stay in the public forum or will it go off to private-secret-special member land as well?

Hello!

We are going to get social groups going with our next update, we are hoping to get that accomplished ASAP. I don't have a precise date on that.

The blogging and MWG areas will stay open to anyone as would the blog roll.

Sorry if I am being dense! Will the social groups be private or public? As in will I need to be a Supporting Member Level III to participate in the new social groups feature?

We do not have plans to make social groups a part of a paid sub.


I am not sure about the private or public thing yet. There are some different options for social groups like open or closed, private or public and such. I don't have firm decisions on those aspects yet.

There would likely be several that would be for basic issues, like things that were on my forum request list that haven't gotten a forum...I would think those would be open as would MWG and the blogging.
